Hello, I am Dr. Tim Proffitt. As a technology leader, professor, researcher, and author in the field of information technology, I am an eternal learner. My specific interests lie in the fields of digital forensics, cyber security, and disaster recovery. With over 27 years of experience in the technology field, I have multiple industry certifications and experience in technology security, infrastructure, forensics, compliance, risk management, and security awareness. I have several research projects in progress at any given time and seek out educational opportunities to further my understanding. As a professor, I strive to present the latest challenges and real-world examples to my students to prepare them for a career in technology.
